The Peninsula Ladies Shrine Club meets the fourth Tuesday of every month, except for July and August when we are dark. All Ladies of Zulekia Court are invited to join us at any time for a tasty dinner, informative meeting, and lots of fabulous time socializing. We meet at 6:30pm at Joe and Mimma’s Italian Restaurant in Yorktown (5742 George Washington Memorial Highway, Grafton Shopping Center). We are working hard trying to build our club membership and the only thing that is missing is you! We would love to have you all become a member of the club.
2024 – 2025 Meeting Dates:
- October 22nd-The Halloween spirit is alive! Wear those bootiful boo outfits to the meeting(or your favorite Halloween shirts or costume).
- November 26th-There are no turkeys in this group! Bring a copy of your favorite Thanksgiving Day food recipe to share with all in attendance.
- December-No club meeting. Enjoy the Christmas holiday!
- January 28th-It is time to CELEBRATE! Our Club’s Bylaws were signed by J&L on January 26, 2024! Join us this month as we celebrate our First Birthday of being an official club of Zulekia Court. AND there might be cake and singing!
- February 25th-Love is in the air. Done those loving colors for this club meeting. We will also be holding elections for President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Please consider stepping up to serve in one of these elected officer positions. We will also have the following appointed positions: Chaplain, Sunshine/Sickness, Hospital and Philanthropy.
- March 25th-May the Luck of the Irish be with you all year long! Show us your Irish spirit by wearing green. Bring your $10 green to either join the club or renew your membership.
- April 22nd-Help us celebrate Easter and Earth Day at this meeting. Wear your blooming colors to brighten up our day. Installation of Officers will occur.
- May 27th-Wear your Red, White, and Blue as we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
- June 24th-Warmer weather is here. What are your summer plans?
- July and August-we are dark
- September 23rd-Back to school. Bring a school picture of yourself for all to see.
- October 28th-Boo to you! Do you have a favorite kind of candy? Bring your favorite to share with the group.
- November 25th-What are you thankful for?
- December 23-Santa knows if you’ve been bad or good! How do you identify? Are you Cindy Lou Who or The Grinch? Let your true colors shine through at this meeting.
As you can tell we try to add fun to our monthly club meeting because all work and no play is no fun! Come check us out because we know you will want to make it official by becoming a club member!
