Zulekia Court #35 was instituted December 14, 1940. Our charter is in Norfolk, Virginia and this court is the only court that has its own building. There are 22 Shrine hospitals in the United States, including one in Mexico, and one in Canada. The purpose of our court is fellowship and fun with friends and relatives of Master Masons and Shriners. We support the Shriner’s Children. We have fund-raising projects during the year to support the hospitals and member support is vital.
Stated Meetings are held each month to conduct business for the Court, and perform ceremonials. In order to attend stated meetings, ladies must be a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, and have a current dues issued by their home court.
